Anyone know a cheaper place to buy valve cover gasket other than someone like partzilla? They're $26 a piece there. Seems kind of high for valve cover gaskets.  

While I'm doing that should I get any other gaskets> Cam cover, bolt gaskets or anything else? What I'm doing is checking the valve adjustments.

Are yours damaged ? I have been able to always reuse mine.

Just added to my post.

Yours were fine with 20 some years on them? My experience with cars is the valve cover gasket are usually rock hard after 20 years or so.

I’ve checked and adjusted the valves on both of my bikes with no leakage reusing the gaskets.

which were/are subjected to under hood heat.  Valkyrie gaskets are not and will be fine.

I've never replaced one.  Done valve clearance probably 10-12 times on 6 or 7 different Valks.

Even though I replaced my valve cover gaskets when I adjusted the valves a few years ago (and have another set on hand) the "Good Book" -- or Honda Shop Manual -- says, "Replace the head cover gasket with a new one if it is damaged or fatigue" on page 8-25.  (They made a typo on "fatigued".)

Anyway, my gaskets looked good, but I replaced them anyway.  Plus, I applied Three Bond 1521 in the grooves as per the Good Book's recommendation.
