Remember musk said he would build cheaper and better cars because he was smarter than all the Detroit automotive engineers? Talk is cheap - Still waiting turns out , in the real world folks need transportation even in cold weather. My 30 year old Eldorado works just fine, heated seats and blows hot air through the vents because it wasdesigned and built by highly trained professionals (as opposed to a programming big mouth geekwanna be)

Very entertaining.

But seeing the snow in the background, they probably had to recharge before going home Smiley

Can’t  believe some people actually Want to fly in machine by a company of programming geeks that cannot get their expensive cars to run?!!? stock performance matches the auto’s’ performance - “train wreck “:)
“We were dead wrong expecting Musk and team to step up like adults in the room on the call and give a strategic and financial overview of the ongoing price cuts, margin structure, and fluctuating demand. … instead we got a high-level Tesla long-term view with another train wreck conference call,” Ives wrote Thursday.”
Another reason to avoid the expensive geek mobile:
“Tesla is recalling nearly 200,000 vehicles in the U.S. because the backup camera may not function while the car is in reverse.”
Backup cameras are totally unnecessary for vehicles that don’t run. Cameras are a neat luxury on a functional car, but not something I wish to pay for. Recalls are very expensive for an auto maker. People will buy any gee whiz thing and pay many times over what the gadget is worth ( factor in the interest paid on the car loan) . But musk is so much smarter than educatied, trained, professional engineers because he’s written some non-operational computer code.

“Tesla is recalling nearly 200,000 vehicles in the U.S. because the backup camera may not function while the car is in reverse.”

I haven't been able to verify on this specific recall, but the vast majority of Tesla recalls are handled by OTA firmware updates. I.E. No need to take it to a Tesla dealer or anything of the like, they push a software update to the car remotely.

On a funner note, I got to looking at Tesla light shows, and some folks are getting REALLY carried away with 'em!

I particularly enjoyed this one:

And this one of a Hindu temple was pretty interesting and different:
