And suddenly some Chinese tourists (apparently employees of the State TV?) said he couldn't stream a video of himself playing the piano because he didn't have an authorization from them for use of their image. He explained that there is no expectation of privacy in a public space but the things didn't improve much, with one of the guys screaming at him and calling the police. Wow, not so surprised, but here in the USA when the police said that bystanders cannot film them, the courts came back with its a public place and they have no right to privacy.

The piano player was much too polite. I would finally have told the guy doing all the yelling to shut up and listen, he might learn something about freedom. If he didn't like being filmed, fine...then haul your commie ass on down the hall and shut up. Tell him I'm exercising my freedoms in a free country while you're exercising your mouth.  |

YouTube is slammed FULL of vids of American police trying stop public videoing and then asking for the persons
identification, and even arresting some, for performing a constitutionaly protected activity. Trying to ID citizens is like
