My friend owns a Valkyrie Interstate and he is looking to replace the headlight bulbs. He read somewhere that PIAA lamps would be better fit than aftermarket one. He searched on Internet and found PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs at Autobarn.net. Wondering do these bulbs work on his Interstate.?

Thanks in advance

If they are a H4 bulb then they can be used. I used the adapter rings already commented on. They keep the filiment of the bulb in the focal point of the fixture reflector. Watch the wattage, mostly because of the heat build up inside of the fxture. DOT says that the maximum highway wattage for a low beam is 55 watts and a high beam is 60 watts. I have been running these wattages for several years now. They are just a little brighter than the factory bulbs. Color is your choice, the LEO here don't much like the blue tinted lights. Says with my headlight modulator it looks to much like a emergency response vehicle. Still, I use them.
