Probably leave this Thursday unless bad weather predicted, then it's Wednesday. Headed for Sanford, should be in about Saturday. Looking forward to meeting up with some of you while down there, want to stay well into March and will be looking around for a place to reserve for next winter. We aren't bringing the trike this time for various reasons but mostly due to convenience this trip. I'm looking forward to some warmer days and sunshine to boot, and I'm bringing my golf clubs...haven't had much of a chance to play any pasture pool in the 4+ years I've been here. Smiley

We’ll have to get everyone together while y’all are down. Maybe Bert can do another meetup at his place. Safe travels.

I'll be interested to see if my former neighbor's little pooch remembers me. Mindy would see me working in the garage from across the street and about pull my friend Ed's arm off wanting to get to me. He'd let her go and she'd come flying across to me dragging her leash, stop and look at me so I'd point to my little red seated scooter chair. She'd go over there and sit, look back at me as if to say "ok, I'm here so where's my strokes and ear scratchings?" When I'd stop by the neighbor's place, it would take about 10 seconds and Mindy would be in my lap with one of a dozen toys she'd dig out during my stay. She knew my car also, would get excited if she saw me drive by and look at Ed as if wondering why I didn't stop. Cute little thing, now age eleven so probably not as fast or agile. Pleasant memories though.  Smiley

Looking forward to seeing you John,  I'll try to call a ride not to far from Sanford while you are here.

Hey, John.  It would be good to see you again.  I'll let TC know that you will be in the area as well.  I hope somebody can put something together for a meetup somewhere.  I need to get out more.

Ok, we got here last Saturday afternoon...in the rain. Great traveling weather til we hit the Fla. border, then out came the oars. Hope to see some of you during our time here, took Nancy to the Yalaha Bakery and we ruined our diets for the next few weeks. Loving the warm weather.

Are you going to Bike Week (Mar 1-10)? Not a big fan myself. I've  probably been 3 times the last 10 years. Let you new bride see all the crazies and craziness.

My granddaughter wants to go with me, I'm not sure I care enough about it to go. I hadn't been for quite  a few years prior to moving, just not the same as it used to be...or maybe age has something to do with it.  Grin
