Only this time it's not the socket...it's my 10mm box/open end combo wrench. I just had it out and using it a couple days ago so looked in the area where I was working to no avail. I'm not going to replace it cuz I know what happens when you do. Guess I could replace, then I know I'd have two...no, make that three. It happened before and that "lost" one turned up a week following my purchase. Kinda like going shopping with Nancy, hard to keep track of her. I've thought about tying a balloon to her waist, at least I could spot it from a distance. My dad mounted a tall red flag pole to mom's motorized scoot, she had a stroke and couldn't walk but that didn't slow her down once she got on her scooter and could still drive it with one good hand.

My wrench will most likely make an appearance while we're in Florida for the next month. Wink

Extra 10mm wrenches are not wasted.  I have 3, not counting the sockets (12 and 6 point), and in 3/8" and 1/4" drives.

My favorite wrenches are open end on one side and a ratcheting box on the other.
