Is that a more updated picture from what I remember?  The one I remember was of an Aunt Jemima that appeared heavier and older than that label.

I sure am glad they removed her name and image from the brand. I, for one, am truly enjoying the widespread world peace that happened when they did that.

I had forgotten about that.  We typically purchase land of lakes butter.  I am tired of this stuff.

The original carton was perfect.

With a razor blade and some imagination it IS possible to turn that into a picture that is NOT suitable for all ages!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

HAHAHA  Same here Smiley  While working in a grocery store, I did that mild porn with the cardboard case box.  Bigger, but no color, but being in my late teens, I still enjoyed it. Roll Eyes

Why the White Quaker Dude gets to keep his job is a good question for some DEI Professional.

Any card carrying Democrat could suggest 1 or 2 for consultation. Cheesy

Bill, I don’t believe any Democrats (card carrying, or not) have required any of these companies to change their advertising. It was done by the companies because they felt it was best for their business. Maybe they were right, maybe they were wrong. But we still live in a capitalist society where companies can make their decisions based on what they think is best for their business. I imagine if Quaker Oats felt they were losing business because of the Quaker Dude, they’d remove it.

Yes, not sure when it was bought but the expiration date was 2015 on the box. It was a newer look for sure.  coolsmiley
