Went out to Wal-Mart to pick up some 5W40 Rotella (synthetic) the other night. None on the shelf and no "blank" for it either. Checked two other stores nearby and same story. Anyone else experience this deletion from the inventory?

Mine has been gone for over a year and a half. My Auto Zone started carring it last year.

My Walmart hasn't carried it for some time either. Fudgie, do you recall the price at AutoZone?

My Wal-Mart and AutoZone had it a month ago. Bought it for $19.99 at AutoZone. Wal-Mart was a buck less I believe and had quarts and gallon jugs.

Can't find shell products in Washington Wal-mart like it used to be on the self. Have moved to a Castrol syn. in 20-50 as a replacement.

Not in my neck of the woods for some time (north east Fla). They used to carry it. Every time my wife draggs me in there I re-check, but to no avail. The workers are clue-less. They also took out all the chairs and small benches, where I would sit and watch some unusual folks pass by.

Do you have a farm supply store in your area?  If so, try them.  Usually good price too.

Bought 2 gallons at the Silver Springs WallyWorld in December. I guess I better go back & check to see if it's still there. I'll buy 'em out if they still have some. Time flies, don't it!   uglystupid2

Wal-mart will stop caring a product if they can’t force the company to drop their price a certain percentage.  Then after a while the company moves production to some third world country were they don’t have to deal with unions or EPA regulations, then they’ll make that product for dirt cheap and it’ll be back on wal-marts shelf.  Maybe in a couple months, you’ll see it again.

Hopefully more companies will say no to wal-marts mafia style of business practices.  If you can find it else ware, buy it there!!

We still have it at our Wally World stores out here in California,,, for now.

Been seeing smaller numbers of bottles on the shelves lately and I think it is $20 a gallon jug (Blue Synthetic jug) now.
1-2 Blue Syn bottles and maybe 4-5 White Dyno bottles at a time at any of the 4 Walmarts close to us (yes we have like 6 withing regular driving distance around our house.)

Tractor supply out here has it but the regular dino is $19.99 a gallon I think and the Synthetic is almost $30 a gallon

The Silver Springs WallyWorld has the Rotella 5W40 syn in stock, both gallons & quarts. Bought another gallon jug Friday. I paid $19.50 which is up 50 cents from last time.  Kim's Valk is gettin' close to changin' time.  Cool

Picked up a blue jug this afternoon (Sunday) at Wallyworld along California I-5; north of Sacramento - south of Redding.  I usually get the blue jug stuff at the Redding store for the past four or five years.
