C S Arms, Inc.  About the finest collection of antique firearms (and other stuff) outside a museum.  Flint and Caplock and all manner of military surplus.  Most in fine to mint condition (and priced accordingly).  I don't buy anything, but look things over, and chat with the owner, who routinely works with NRA in appraising and evaluating antique arms.

Upperville VA on the old Lee Jackson Memorial Highway (Route 50).  Several notable cavalry battles took place around there during the war between the states.

Mosby's Rangers

The rear of this building and root celler is from the 1700's, and the rest of it was built in the 1820s.  It was a horse teamster stopover in the (very) old days.

We had low 60s and I rode all over the area with old VA farms, horse and cattle ranches, and ancient stone walls put up when the rock was removed for planting.

Best ride of the year.  And no bugs (yet).

Very nice.   Very nice.

And I recognize the name, Mosby's Rangers.   Don't know much about them.  Will have to investigate.
