If anyone is in the path of this thing stay safe and good luck to you.

4 feet at the lower and 12 feet at the higher elevations sounds like a whopper of a storm. Just watched some video from early today and things don’t look so great.

We live on CA/OR border.  Had snow most of the day yesterday, nothing stuck.  Woke up to a couple inches this morning.  We are on the dry side of the Cascades Mtns.  They got a foot or so.  CalTrans is calling for no Travel, our schools are open.  Skies are clearing as I type.  The weather folks are calling for more snow/wind till later tomorrow.  Not sure about folks and roads to the south of us.

There ARE Many times-snow blizzards hurricanes tornadoes-on the highways that make me HAPPY I are no longer in an 18 wheeler!  coolsmiley Cuz what most generally happens is overuse of braking of those scared crapless and slowing down BOTH lanes cuz they NEVER should have been out in the stuff to begin with! And It was NOT ONLY 4 wheelers! There were/are folks in 18 wheelers that will NEVER learn the HOW of actually making an 18 wheeler work Correctly. RIDE SAFE.

Folks in car/pickup truck don't have much sympathy for them.  They should have listened to the weather forecast and know what to expect.  The Semi guys should have known also but sometimes they just have to try to push thru.

Thankfully here on the border of CA/OR we have just been having an inch or two of snow in the morning.  Don't really have to shovel it but do.  Then has been clearing in the afternoon.  Been doing this since Thursday.  Have at least another day of it.  Maybe.

Our passes over the Cascades and I-5 have been really snow packed.  Some travel restrictions.  Even Medford valley has gotten some snow.
