Got everything back together after replacing slow speed (pilot) jets. Running like it should again. Now. There is a gas leak at the fuel rail coming out of #2 carb. I tighten the nuts at the end of carb bracket as I read to do in another thread. Still has leak. I was hoping it would seal off. No luck thus far. I dread taking it all down again, even further this time. Just to replace a couple of 10 cent o-rings. Has any one had to replace these? Does anyone know what size the o-rings are and where to source them? Thanks.

try also tapping the carbs together with a wooden dowel and tighten those end nuts.

Thanks. I'll try anything to keep from having to pull everything again. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

How long has gas been in the rail. If only a few hours start it again till gas leaks then shut off and wait overnight. I’ve had mine swell up after sitting overnight never to leak again until the carbs are drained and the orings shrink again during winter storage

Thanks, Skinhead. I used a piece of nylon rod as I didn't have a wooden dowel. And. Tapped the #3 carb in. It helped quite a bit. Still has some seepage. Hoping it will seal off. Seems like I fix one problem another pops up to replace it. Whack a mole.

On the bike I replaced the O-rings on, it had been neglected and was leaking fuel when I tried to start it. I hoped the O-rings would swell and seal, but they didn't. When I rebuilt/cleaned the carbs, I found deposits on the O-rings that I believe prevented them from sealing. I don't know if they were from the fuel or possibly additives the previous owner may have used. Either way, the O-rings above did the job. Be sure to lube them with Vaseline when you install them.
