Wife and I want to see the bluebonnets this year. Thinking about the Austin area. How long do they bloom?  When should they start this year? We are both sick of snow and cold.

Give us a shout if you are in the Austin area. Willow City loop is amazing when the bluebonnets bloom.

Thanks everyone! Not too many good fields of bluebonnets in the panhandle.

Though I have seen a nice rainbow of colors on the first big hill down to Miami TX.  Come over a hill, head down into the river area and lots of yellow, red, blue, and white wildfowers in new green grass. Usually after the first good spring rain. I hope that we can take a long weekend and do a slow ride down into central Texas.
