cooldude Love golf❣️I don’t play as often as I use to but still do and know I’ll play more when I retire. If I’m not riding, I’ll be hitting that little white ball Roll Eyes Of the PGA tournaments The Masters is probably my favorite  :smitten  I guess I really got interested in playing golf after I caddied for my father in several Tallahassee Open PGA tournaments. His Pro-AM team won the event in 1975 I believe that was the year. His Pro was Tom Watson

The Masters taught me one thing I'll never forget.
Always, Always, ALWAYS check your route and the dates of such events and schedule or go around.

Was transporting a Mercedes from point A to point B and the route went right through Augusta, GA (home of the Masters Golf Tournament).   Was worse than driving through DC at rush hour.   Got tied up in that traffic for several hours.   Nope, I'm not a golfer either so, I wasn't real happy about the traffic.

I like watching some of the the big tournaments on TV (parts, not all).

I like the professional announcers that are calm and thoughtful in their coverage.  The quiet, even almost whispered discussion.  Not the yelling and screaming of most all other televised sports.

I played some golf in my youth.  Including on a course good enough for an occasional PGA event in my home town.  I could drive the ball pretty good, and I could putt best of all, but I generally sucked at all the in-between shots.

A few times I went with 3 other guys (foursome) and we'd rent a cart, and take a cooler full of cold beer. Playing golf inebriated can be quite entertaining.  (So that's why they have those outhouses strategically spread around the course)   Grin
