The other motorcycle show this past weekend (April 12th, 13th & 14th) was the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show...

There's plenty of differences between The Handbuilt Show and the Fandango.  The first difference is that the Handbuilt Show considers itself more of an art show...

...another difference is that you might see a four wheel vehicle or two...

...and the third difference is that The Handbuilt Show is held in Downtown Austin...

Similar to the Fandango, which seems to be mostly V-twin centric, there's plenty of V-twins on display at the Handbuilt...

...and like the Fandango, there's plenty of beautifully restored antiques at the Handbuilt...

...but the Handbuilt has plenty of fun, eccentric and I-don't-know-whats on display...

(A turbo charged scooter?)

(A 100cc land speed record competition bike?)

(Uh...not sure what...but, I did manage to photograph a cameo shadow.)

(Custom Hot Rod mini bike racer just for fun!)

This awesome custom was built by a retired couple in Salado and was one of my favorites this year...

(The builders took a whole year to complete this work of art.)

All the etching was done by hand...

The detail was overwhelming...

(I think one could look over this bike for days and not see everything that was put into it.)

Once again, I took way too many pictures to display here.  Nevertheless, I hope the essence of the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show has come though...

Ride safe, have fun y'all!

Thanks again for sharing, Charlie!   cooldude

I haven't been to Fandango, at all, and it's been several years since I was at the Handbuilt Show.  I'm way overdue... Cry

Here's a view of the pregnant scooter's turbo...

Amazing custom work.
