What do you do, something or nothing? Contact your legislators? Call, write, visit? Are a member of a club or MRO like ABATE. NCOM, AMA? Wear bright clothing. Have extra or flashing lights? Donate funds. Kinda wonder what we do.
Crow, life member ABATE of Fla. inc. Charter life member the AMA. Went to a NCOM convention once. Visited Congresswoman Karen Thurman (in D.C.). At night wear reflective gear. Saw State legislators on our yearly (ABATE) run to the Capitol for around 25 years. What a sight, so cool ! Recently joined AIM. ABATE Fl. has a msap, motorcycle safety and awareness program. Working on getting certified, then will speak to organizations, schools etc al. Spoke in support of Citrus Co. opting out of State bicycle helmet law. We are one of only two in the State. Finally I bitch a lot on a motorcycle clubs website.

Great work you are trying to do. Very steep hill you are climbing. The problems, alcohol, inexperienced operators, having to have the “cool bad a33 “ look. 4 wheeler’s driving distracted or not caring about anyone but themselves. And now in the last few years the legislation of stoned driving of both 2&4 wheels.

Thank you sir for your very positive comment. Definitely the wrong section to post this. I thought this board would be a good place to exchange useful, doable information that would be positive in sharing and actually, perhaps, maybe, make a difference in our motorcycling community. Alas I was wrong. It's very evident that the majority of posters relish in commenting about things that will not change minds or make a difference in the lives of...... ANYONE
