I actually put the cobra bike in a show. Took second in the cruiser category. First was one of those big front wheel custom Harleys with all the bells and whistles. But, it was dirty. I knew it was going to come down to what the judges were looking for. They didn’t care about clean apparently. lol

I couldn’t believe how much dirt I found on my bike in preparation. It’s VERY clean now.!!!

Good for you.   cooldude     (Nobody has a bike cleaner than yours Jeff)

I put my restored (mostly) and repainted 69 Corvette Stingray in a show once, and won a 2d in whatever category it was.

I got a big glass beer mug with little brass plate (and it sits in my big china cabinet with all manner of things that never get used at all, but are nice to look at).

I shipped my Chevy El Camino to Turkey, you'd have to be a complete idiot to ship a Vette over there (terrible roads).  In front of my base house at March AFB CA (some decades ago).  MI (my home state) only had a rear plate, so I stuck the overseas plate in front to cover the empty hole in the bumper.

And having different plates on the front and rear of your car can result in conflicting witness statements at your trial for speeding or other hooligan behavior.   Grin
