Does anyone need a CB?

Alph, pick up a CB from Big Mike at Valkyrie Bling and More.  You will NOT need headsets, will play thru the speakers.

The handlebar mounted control reads "clairon" ... "Honda".... "Intercom"
There is a button mounted on the back for a passenger. A local independent Honda Goldwing/Valk mechanic said it is an original Honda radio. It came with the '98 17k Tourer (purchased August 2009).

I didn't get a headset with the bike so I've never used it. I'm kind of a slow talker and don't feel comfortable using a CB.

The mechanic seemed to think it might be worth $600, but I'd rather let it go to a member of this board. I'd just give it away, but I need some $$$ maintenance done on my bike.

I sold the Tourer Clarion/Honda CB that was on my bike when I got it.

I had just learned about Valkyries, I didn't know nothin about nothin... I put
an ad on the Classifieds and said make an offer, I was shocked at how fast and
how many came in. I stopped them at around $400 because it just seemed wrong
somehow  ... turns out $400 is actually "a good deal" if it is all there and
working...

Hi Mike I bought a Honda CB for my 98 Tourer many years ago from a guy in the States. He had taken it off his bike  which he had sold. What I did not know at the time was that the Honda CB plugged into a wiring harness that he did not take out. He just unplugged the CB from the bike.I was lucky to get one thru HDL because Honda Canada didn't stock it.This harness goes into the headlight bucket and took awhile to hook up. When pricing your CB,consider the time of getting this harness out. HDL's price for it was almost a hundred at the time.

I have yhis system on my standard,you can pipe your mp3,satalite radio through it ,there is a jack on the box under the seat.Mine works awsome and would not give it up for any amount,this was a 1500.00 option from honda,400.00 is cheap!

I sold mine three years ago to the $400 guy... I didn't stop trying to sell at $400, I stopped taking offers
higher than that, I was starting to feel like a rip-off artist  ...

Anyhow, the guy I sold it to was from Canada, but he had a Yamaha...

I took these notes when I de-installed it, I reckon I still have some vestigial parts of the
CB wiring harness on my bike
