Due to a busy work schedule as of late I haven't been able to ride much...plus, there was some rain...and, oh yeah...tornadoes, hailstorms and a bit flooding...

Nevertheless, I got out today on the Valk to run some errands and then cruise the Hill Country.  Grabbed lunch on the square in Johnson City.  Really beautiful day.

On the last leg of today's ride I noticed that there was considerable heat coming off the pavement.  I'd open the helmet visor and the air felt hotter!  That only happens when it's really hot and not just warm.  Got home and checked the fancy, digital, wireless thermometer that not only predicts the weather, but keeps perfect time by being hooked up with the atomic clock...and it said the temp was 95˚F in the back yard.

Dang...early summer.

 Cool

I just did an Arkansas ride with some friends.  1,600+ miles.   First long distance ride Ive done in several years.  Longest day was yesterday coming home.....500+ a few miles.      Got a good nites sleep but my whole body is worm out.   Getting old.
