Pulling the clutch lever is getting a little odd.
Have to pull all the way in to disengage and it engages very quickly.
A full pull to disengage and simply relaxing the hand at near the full pull will engage.

I am assuming from a previous thread that a bushing is a possible problem?

The clutch itself does seem to engage and disengage just fine.

Looking for some insight.

Thanks

It could easily be the bushing. Do you know how to look at it, evaluate it, and replace it if needed?

Clutch lever bushing

The Honda part Number 2285-MBO-006 is $10

The Suzuki part number 59892-08A00 is $3 and exactly the same part.

Part number two in the drawing

Here is the info for bushing

I am confident the issue is the bushing. It appears to be easy. Appears. I've been tricked before thus my post. I tend not to be mechanically inclined.

Kind of looking for a simple "tutorial" from you guys in the know.

My concern is does this get me into the actual hydraulics and having to bleed lines and such or is it a simple remove lever and swap out bushing. (and pin?)

Simple. No bleeding necessary.

Bushing problem, always there.

Clutch rivet, distance of pull comes and goes.

Bushing $3 USD ($5 CAD) and us easy to replace. Problem goes away, most likely it was that. Same, then put the bushing in your spares and look further.

Welcome to the club!  Grin Grin Grin BTW if you get tired of the "pull" with this MC, 1800 VTX MC works much easier. Yeah I'm old.  Smiley
