Valkyrie Jack…

Da Prez (Ross Patterson) sent me one of his ‘Valkyrie Jacks’. Those are something he came up with, that he and his brother, Old2Soon (Dennis Patterson), have developed and used for some time. Ross has several on hand, he told me, and he will be selling them, both online and at InZane.

I got the one I now use following the ‘blow-over’ of our girl during a violent thunderstorm in Alabama several months ago. It has enabled me to use my bike cover with much more confidence, and ALI has experienced no more topple overs, even though she has been in many more storms… I really like having the stand I use nowadays…

Resting peacefully on her side-stand with her cover pulled back over her. Her ‘skirt’ had blown up during an overnight blow, but she continued to stand tall!

Cover blown back but she was ‘unphased’… (The bungee around the middle to reduce the 'ballooning effect' of the cover during high winds was made by Jess from VA. Thanks Jess!)

The jack is simple and easy to put in place, and it does stabilize the bike impressively…

This is not a sales promo; merely the sharing of an experience and some information about it. Any interest in the product itself or gaining more information about it should be directed to Ross.

Very Cool...

Thanks  for  sharing that.

It's odd  how  some  Valks  lean over on the  side  stand  more  than others.
There  are  some  that are almost straight up !
And  some  the  side  leans  is so great .

I had my Honda CB750 4 outside my Q room on the flightline at Maxwell AFB (Montgomery).  It had a tall sissy and a Vetter fairing and the cover in high wind took the bike completely over even on the center-stand.

That jack stand looks suspiciously like Ross cut it off the bottom of some old lady's walker.   Grin

People with shorter (than stock 13") rear shocks lean less on the kickstand.  One of my bikes has 13" and the other 12.5", and the latter leans less.  Easier to lift off the stand.

Hay, cool idea.  Are they sold in pairs?

How fast are you able to run after stealing the old lady's walker?   tickedoff

Bruce My Friend appreciate the kudos BUT Ross-da prez-came up with this idea outa his own twisted lets see if this will wurk or not!  2funny More than once He has explained something to me and then gone into his shop and built "something" or other! Other folks have laid out a need and more often than not Ross has fabbed up the needed item. He HAS over the years missed out on some of his ideas that SHOULD have been patented. Saved Phatt Ghurl in my shop her cave when my rear tire leaked down overnight. NOT just extolling the virtues-well maybe a little bit-but I KNOW it WURX! Also Bruce HAPPY that little item kept OUR GAL SAFE!!  cooldude cooldude RIDE SAFE.
