My Valkyrie is back together and

A former client with a motorcyle shop in the north Bronx, stopped by my office the other day
and offered to put in that new switch and wiring inside my left pod so I have
now got working fog lights and my pod back on and a NYS inspection.

Had it up to a very high cruising speed on the way home before getting stuck in weekend traffic
Yes the fan came on lol

So see you all at INZANE

He also offered to put in a 40 amp rated relay so he can eliminate most of the spaghetti under the seat
what with the heated gear, air horn, usb and lighter accessory ports the aforesaid fog lights
Said he has used it in his business for 20years no issues so
I will take him up on it when I return

Except for old jalopies and wrecks, I think annual State safety inspections are all about revenue and little about safety.  What I've seen in my state is (mostly) a quick look around and pencil whipping the checklist, and collecting the fee.

Not only was VA the first State I ever lived in that charged personal property taxes on all vehicles, forever..... it's the first State I ever lived in that had annual safety inspections.

It's all a racket as far as I'm concerned.

What is needed for safety on the roads today is better drivers, not better vehicles.

Two times today (on my bike), in broad daylight, I had an SUV just decide to change lanes right into me.  Ever heard of checking your mirrors or looking where you are going, you assholes?  The dual headlights on my Interstate are always on.  I'm not big on using the horn), but I'd really like to use my .380 on some tires ('course, then I'd be the felon).

My air horn got his attention Before both our days-mine would've been worse than his-turned to chit cuz he WAS NOT paying attention to the Driving! I REFUSE to quit RIDING because so many people are inexcusably STUPID! Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances! RIDE SAFE.
