We are working from a Haynes manual and the G/W Factory manual. Both are Proving their worth. We've narrowed the ignition problem down to we Think Hope Maybe is the pulse generator. And Honda in their ifinite wisdom is NOT open on mondays!  tickedoff And some most of the Valkyries use the same pulse generator. Judging by what we found under the tupperware Honda did a LOT of rearranging to get that Clean Look the Valkyrie has in the timing belt cover area. And should it prove to NOT be the pulse generator-yes tests were conducted-that leaves the ECM. RIDE SAFE.

Glad to hear it appears the gremlins are being excised! Better to have problems in/near home than a thousand miles from home!

ALMOST got er back sorta lookin like a G/W! 6 degree triple tree IS INSTALLED! And it Weren't plug and play on the triple tree! Some mods by my in house fabricator A K A My Brother da prez. The 6 degree tree IS some meatier than the stock tree and a couple clearance issues were addressed by finesse and now and then brute force. The tupperware Is proving to be a mite contrary and I are tryin to remain polite!  Lips Sealed Gonna make an attempt at that all important test ride shake down ride and lets see how the G/W Is affected by all the mods done to here here in Il. Suspension Check. 6 degree tree check. ANYTHING screws up I duz in fact KNOW the guy who did all that work!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Just wondering what brand 6 degree triple tree you used? I just picked up a !989 Gold Wing with a Champion sidecar that I want to make it steer a little easier. Looks easy enough to change, also did you replace the steering stem bearings and races? Thanks for any input,  Chuck

I ordered the one Amazon sells. Fer awhile Walmart had the same triple tree for a Lot less But when I ordered Amazon had the best price and I am a Prime member hence free shipping. And the tree came with all new bearings. With about 91 G on the odometer the races looked new. And the handling went from work my azz off to dang this thing steers nice! And on the way home to Missouri I ran in over 100 miles of some Serious RAIN!  Lips Sealed IF SHOULD "issues Ever arise I'll shout it out here on the board!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
