Check'em out on Dags site I need some I can get to save. The ones on the slide will not let me copy. Would really like to have a few pictures that use the Interstate model.Another plus would be if you know the state / city / town of the Valkyrie Police motorcycle picture anyone might have.

Joe, try going through this link to his pictures.  I was able to copy them from here and was able to advance through them one by one.

Now, wait a cotton pickin' minute.  IF aftermarket (spelled=LOUD) exhaust are inconsistent with the keeping of peace and order... WHY does this POLICE bike have Cobra six into six pipes on it?   police  Grin  Wink

Cobra and Two Brothers six into six are the best soundin' exhaust system on a Valkyrie in my opinion . Maybe he was going for that " Loud Pipes Save Lifes " deal ???

If you use Windows, and you're looking at an image on your screen, and you can't save it to a file
for whatever reason (I think those slide things are flash)... mash the "PrtSc" (printscreen) button,
open up paint and mash "paste"... you'll have it...

Iirc, there was a discussion I read a couple of years ago concerning Police Valks in Texas.  Seems the Valks were owned by the Officers that rode them.  They were allowed to perform any mods they wanted within reason, that would cover the Cobra exhausts and bag rails.  The dept. covered fuel, maintenance and maybe insurance.  In addition, I think after 3-5 years in service, the Valks had to be retired.

More along the lines of the officers were paid to supply their own motorbikes. Hence a Valk with 6x6 pipes.

Sadly, those are full size... Digital camera technology has come a long ways since 2001...  Wink (I did a little more digging and can confirm those were from December 2001, btw...)

I put the pipes and  did the carbs on this one, at Hagen's old shop in Corpus Christi. The officer went with a Harley lease deal and wanted us to fix up his Valk like Hagen's.    I delivered it to his house and got some odd stares on the way over.

After he turned the Harley back in he just put his cop stuff back on the Valk.
I still see him patrolling on this bike.

LOL  Don't get me wrong... I'm not "against" a Police bike having a good sounding exhaust on it... I just find it comical that a lack of consistency is displayed at times.  And... it just strengthens the case for the regular guy to be able to choose too.

I think he put the baffles in when he put the Valk back in service. It's not that loud.  Local cops  don't hassle bikers over loud pipes, anyhow.  A bunch of Reguladores LEO MC run loud pipes.
