Purchased a Mr. Gasket 2473B radiator cap with the understanding that it would fit my '98 Honda Valkyrie 1500c but it does not fit ,can anyone help with getting the correct one. Has the temp gauge.

I’ve heard that the late 90s Nissan caps will fit. Hopefully someone will chime in on the correct one.

No matter what you get, keep the original with you when you go. i recall the ones with a temp guage fail/leak.
