Picked up a Pitbull Lift at one of the IMS shows lately. Got a great price on it too. Out the door price was cheaper than if I had ordered a J&S Lift. I know this is a volatile topic and many are sold on the less expensive lifts but I gotta tell ya ... this thing is build rock solid. I haven't tried it out on the bike yet but brought it up to full height, kneeled down on top of the lift on all fours and rocked my weight back and forth and it wouldn't budge. Anxious to try it on the bike but right now she's still hibernating. If you're in the market for an awesome lift check 'em out.

The Pitbull website states that adapters are available for the Valkyrie Standard, Tour and Classic?? Can I assume they meant the Interstate?

You defiantly need a adapter for the lift and pitbull does make a adapter also.
BUT i have the adapter and am not satisfied with it because you have to drive the rear tire on a 2x4 or something get the lift under the bike them slide the adapter in place
the one sold on ebay by (mc-enterprise) the red one that temporarily bolts to the sides of the engine would be much easier to use and can be balanced better
the pitbull adapter has a certain way if fits to the lift and can't be moved foward or back for better weight distribution

I have one of those permanent adaptors from flea bay. It looks alot like the Pitbull one only mounts permanent.

I got one of these on the shelf, just need to take the time to mount it. I have not needed to jack the bike up yet. I also have ride on lift, that I have used to work on the Valk with. I'll get to it one of these rainy days if I can't think of something else to do LOL.

I have one. If you lived close enough I would make you a good deal on it. I don't trust it. When I jack my Tourer up it will lean out some. I'm afraid it will break. I trust my craftsman way better than that one. I have a link to a really good one. Here's the link http://www.lifts-and-stands.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=54I would trust this one. Not the one from Harbor freight. David

Harbour freight rig would still raise up to your pipes as a jack would without adapter. Not sure if you could balance your Valk that well either. But looks like a good sex toy or to hang clothes on. Just my two cents.

thanks warlock, that lift looks much better.
I was all excited when I first got it. When I jacked up the Tourer, forgot to mention I have a I/S trunk on it, but still within it's cap. Once I stopped I got to looking and man I couldn't believe it. I took my sears jack and put it on the outer side to level it up. Took about 3 inches to level it up. Haven't used it since. The link I sent for that lift is pretty pricey. I might save my money and get me the Pit bull lift. If you find out a price let me know. I'm thinking over $700.00 bucks. David
