The same ujoint is used for the 1500 goldwings as well. One of the reasons that they seem to go out more in Valks is because of the higher torque than a wing. You might find a good one on eBay or a salvage yard. Good hunting my friend.

yeah impssible to find. mine seems ok no slop or play i can tell splines are good.  shaft and cup were definatly done. but never know wont know till problbly next weekend when i get it all back together. but woildlike one in case and for sure snag for a spare for when it does happen. thank you for the response. happy motoring.
