Where has the year gone!  Bonnie died a year ago and I am still dealing with the sadness. That is part of living.  I am in the process of downsizing.
Even with all the legal issues in place , it is still a lot of mental and physical work to downsize.
Bonnie grew up poor. When she became a lawyer , she would get the things she was not able to have growing up. She was not a hoarder , but had a lot of  nice items.  Most , I will not need or want to dust.
We traveled to 44 countries , Bonnie was in 10 additional . She wanted to see the world. I hope she has a good view now. angel angel angel angel angel

I think I was still coming out of my hospitalization fog this time last year at this time myself so think I missed this.... You have my condolences. Time softens, but doesn't remove the pain. Sounds like she lived a full life, if I'm able to see half as much as she did, I'll consider my life successful...

What a beautifully written post, Ross.  You were indeed lucky to have her.

I'm sorry for your troubles Ross.

The older we get, the more friends and family we are bound to lose.

When I visited her recently my 94yo mom told me there was not one old friend or family member outside of 2 children (my brother and I), and 1 granddaughter left alive that she used to know.

Yep , loss of friends and family is inevitable the older we get. Hang in there Ross - we're all thinking of you. Makes it more important to stay in touch with the ones you still have.
