cooldude Yep, he had a tough go getting home from Valdosta, GA. Getting there before Helene hit only took him 1 1/2 hour to get there. Coming home after the Helene about 7 hrs he said. So many trees down on the way home. As of what I saw earlier today his power is still out and may be for several more days. Glad you two touched base.  cooldude

I chatted with Wood on Tuesday evening. They are still without power, and the Transmission went out in his truck, Mostly from pulling trees out of the road on his way home from Valdosta.  The Main problem is the Power outage, because they have to feed the Generator, and that requires 30 mile round trips daily for Diesel Fuel. Other than that inconvenience they are doing very well. The house is where they left it, and very minor damage.

Thanks for the report on Wood.  Glad to hear that they are ok for the most part.

Wood & Erin got their power back about 9:00 Wednesday night. That was their biggest problem, so they are in pretty good shape, now.

cooldude Moving beyond this topic with Hurricane Helene and most recent Milton you will see my post on Wood's health concerns. Some serious surgical decision to consider moving forward.  angel
