A great day to ride in PoDunk Indiana.
Today was a day of cornfields, cows and combines. Of eagles, vultures, hills, valleys, curves, woods and fields. A day of bridges, creeks, rivers and lakes. Spilled grain, dry leaves and flattened animals. A day of dust in the nostrils, sweet potato fries, a day of sticky, blown-up bugs. There were airplanes and clouds in the sky, a warm wind and a thankfulness I can't adequately express. All accompanied by the Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, & Jethro Tull, just to name a few.
In other words, it was another joyous day to enjoy The Art of Motorcycling.
Concerning the pic, the old Covered Bridge Ride went by this spot in Rockville Indiana many times. This is Benjamin's restaurant, and I truly believe they have the best sweet potato fries I've ever tasted.
