I am just north of tampa. Rain was spotty most of the day but has been constant for a couple hours now. Milton has just reportedly made landfall. My area is getting 60/80 mph wind/gust. Please Lord continue to keep us and our neighbors safe.

Been raining here for hours, Wind gusts are probably in the mid-30s. I think we have seen the worst of it, but I would imagine that the power will go out some time tonight. It will take me less than 10 minutes to finish starting the generator and move the few plugs to power the essentials. Generator will run in excess of 16 hours on one tank, and I have 13 gallons extra on hand.

It's 4AM now. The wind finally seems to be calming down . Much less wind in the past hour. Waiting for daylight to survey the outside . Thankyou Lord.

Sorry to leave you all hanging. We are safe and no damage to the house. I have many trees blown over. We had 16+ inches of rain. The soil is just soggy and could not hold the trees. The county road we use was blocked in both directions by multiple trees. But I didnt need to go anywhere I was busy all day picking up limbs . I wont have it all cleaned for weeks. But thats OK. My cousin who lives across the street has a tree service. We spent several hours clearing the road so the power company could get thru. Just a moment ago the power was restored. All is well and God is good.

We are safe and sound with minimal Damage, here in Homosassa, Queen Palm was about 45 degrees off vertical, but we got it straightened out and braced today. Got some shingles to nail down tomorrow, and then yard clean up. Power went out about 11:00 last night and came back on about 3:00 this afternoon, and Internet was back at about 4:00. Our Generator did it's job, and only used about 2.5 gallons of Non-Ethanol.

I lost power for 24 hour's. Power went out about 8 pm Wednesday and back on about 9:30 Thursday night. One of my bigger generators powered half of my house from the sub panel I installed to feed the camper and generator. All my other generators I lent out did their jobs flawlessly. I fixed a total of 6, for my neighbors. ( Many people don’t know enough to run their generators once a month and use gas additives too ). I even ran a cord to power up the camper so I could have hot water and AC, but power came back up. I used the camper as a shield on my north side and pick up and jet skis on the south side. My yard had some small limbs down, but driving around the neighborhood I witnessed many trees down, sheds split in half by limbs coming down and pool enclosures damaged or torn down. Now comes the clean up, the neighborhood will definitely look different from the damage Milton brought. Please be safe out there.

So glad to hear you guys are mostly good. No serious damage and some power restored. Us Texans know a little about hurricanes and the damage they, and their tornados, can inflict. Be Safe. Hay Jimmyt

We were very fortunate to have no damage at our home here in Valrico. I left the house today for the first time since the storm passed. There are trees and power lines down all around us. Our power is still down, but our 5500 watt portable generator is running everything but the A/C. Stay safe everybody.

We got 23” of rain and wind gusts up to 95mph. Lost a few trees, fence and still have no power. Most of my neighbors do but still a lot of generators running. All this up in Ormond Beach on the east coast. Lots of clean up, but all else is good. No house or vehicle damage.

Great news for sure. In Houston, we know a little about running the generator to keep the fridge/freezer running and a few lights and fans. Beryl knocked down 3 sections of fence, but that was all the damage we had. Hope you guys get your power back soon. Hay Jimmyt
