 Yes, Mark - Wood Butcher
angel Lets keep Wood - Mark in our prayers. He is going in for a Heart Ablation on Wednesday 6th. Then Wood and Erin will meet and discuss with the Cardiac Surgeon to discuss Woods next surgical plans which involve open heart surgery and valve repair or replace. He has some Major heart issues if you didn't know already. A major artery that is bulging in an area they have found that needs to be addressed. Prayers continue for him and Erin along with his family. If you need his info and want to send him a text message whether you know him or not I will give you his cell phone number if you PM me. Please No calls but text only right now. If you don't know Wood he is a great guy and one of the best Valkyrie mechanics out there. Just wanted to let you know again what is going on with one of our Beloved Valkyrie family members.  angel

Thanks for the update, Keith. I have been in contact with Mark myself, and the info I have is the same as yours.  For the rest of the gang, watch my posts and Keith's, and as he says, PLEASE,  NO CALLS. Texts are much better, as he can answer them at his own pace, without adding stress. I know we are all wishing him the best.

Prayers for Mark and his family.
I don’t want to bother them, but if they need anything, I’m about 4 hrs away and can come by for a day or to go help them with anything big they need. They’re not far from Shans. Got rid of my cancer and my neighbor just had heart surgery there and is doing great.  angel
Thanks for keeping us informed.

cooldude I have been in touch with Wood on / off today. His TEE was finished up today before noon and home later this afternoon. It went well he said and his doc discussed getting him to Shands for a 2nd opinion over the repair of his Aorta that has the bulging area which is about 5 cm in size. His blood flow because of the leaky valve does re-enter his heart and that will be looked at too. His spirts are good which is just Wood if you know him.  angel

Kieth, just saw this. Praying for Mark for a fast and complete recovery from whatever surgery is coming his way.

Prayers for the best outcome for Mark. May the Lord be with him/family as travel this path . Let the Lord guide the doctors/teams to repair the heart problems.
It's wonderful what medicine can do for us these days.

angel Prayers are working but don't stop. I was texting this evening with Mark = Wood. He is feeling really good even more so after he shot his second buck after cleaning the first earlier. Not to mention he cut up three trees and moved them to the splinter. Then pressure washed the house and porch. Yep, he hasn't slowed much but recognizes he needs to not over exert himself.  Roll Eyes  He is still waiting to hear from Shands Hospital and probably will this week. He had a busy weekend to say the least.   cooldude

I chatted with Mark yesterday for a bit. He says that they have lowered his BP, and he is feeling better. He has an appointment at Shands in December, for a 2nd opinion. Basically he has slowed down a little bit, but is working on Hurricane cleanup out in the woods in the sand pile.

Thanks for the update Don, I was texting with him yesterday too. I asked if he had heard from Shands and he said he has got an appointment now set for Dec. 11. He is feeling pretty good but that is Wood Wink

Afternoon folks. I was in touch with Wood last Friday and wanted you all to know all looks pretty good for now. Here is his message below. I’m trying to paste but may not allow.  coolsmiley

He looked at the size of my heart and thinks it’s okay or not overworking. He explained it as my heart being a muscle and if it works too hard will grow too big. But he thinks the leakage in the valve is not severe enough to cause that. He was great in showing me all the pictures from my test and explaining everything in great detail for me to understand. I feel much more comfortable after seeing him

Great news. He’s got to feel much better after hearing that. I’m sure his family’s minds are more at ease too. Thanks for keeping us updated.
