Like many households we have a goodly collection(2024 understatement) of plastic storage containers in the cupboards. These containers of various sizes are mainly used to keep leftovers just long enough for the contents to develop a life of their own and are tossed...usually by me. I like warm and fuzzy, but not for consumption. So, a while back we're strolling through Costco and the resident bed warmer spots a box with all sizes of what appears to be 637 NEW plastic containers(on sale no less)...turned out to be only 19 but seemed more once spread on the kitchen table. It's a nice set for sure, easy on the these arthritic old hands when closing/opening. So this morning I checked to see how much of the old collection had been tossed once replaced by the new. Yup, you're right!  Grin

That sounds like good news for you John as you’re probably the oldest thing in the house!

That got Nancy laughing, followed by "he's right you know." She did assure me I wouldn't get put on the curb for Monday morning collection. Encouraging indeed.  Wink

Carl...that's so true. Oft times expectations and reality are in opposition. So be it!  cooldude

I'm just the opposite but, my wife is guilty.   I'm constantly asking why we have all these containers, I truly believe there are hundreds of them.   Have no idea why.........................   tickedoff

I guess like most things, it's my fault although, I have no idea why or how....................   2funny

Well I went and spent 5 mins. trying to find a lid in the two lid drawers. Ended up doing putting "Cling Wrap" over it and used a rubber band to keep it in place and the total time 15 secs. and the wrap came off the roll w/o further abuse toward me.  Grin
