The high winds kicked up a few waves along the shoreline...
We were without hydro power for 23 hours...others lost it much longer than we did...
Here is Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park..

When the timing is right with the waves and the tide, Mother Nature puts on a good show..
Back in my youth, I would have walked around the CLOSED gate and been standing on the lower level..
Have had plenty salt water showers down there...

Great picture Terry! We had a lot of wind in my area the past week, but thankfully no power outages. Hopefully your generator helped keep you warm and fed. 23 hours is a long time. Glad it's over for you guys.  cooldude

Tony, the airport, which is @ 1 mile away, had 67 mph sustained winds blowing straight up the Jordan River...These winds lasted more than 4 hours...
Heat pump and pellet stove kept right on purring, and the coffee was ready when we got up..
Was waiting for somebody to drive by and decide they wanted our generator...Didn't happen !!

I refilled all gas cans yesterday so we will be prepared for the next power outage....

Our coastal locations got the highest sustained winds, too, especially Cape Cod and Cape Ann. Glad you guys stayed warm.

Just curious, did you invite your pharmacist neighbor and her boyfriend over for dinner to stay warm?  Cheesy

Jake and Chantelle were at Jake's parents all night for the power outage....
Having seen her in little boy shorts and braless in a tank top, I can't imagine what her sleep wear is..
