I have the 99 VTX GL 1500/C……..long story short,no keys so i have to get the ignition off the bike…to get keys made…
Question…Ive removed the seat ,the ignition bracket but the wires go up underneath the fuel tank,….obvously this now has to be removed …..my question ,is there a “harness there that can be unclipped ,or is the whole wire thing ,wired as one piece……..if thats the case it would be easier to trailer the bike to a key/locksmith and have them work on it ………..the local locksmiths are not keen to have the Bike on their premises…….thanks for the feedback……..cheers
