Take it easy on the beer, wine and liquor.  Grin    Just cold milk for me.  Smiley

We just had a big thunderstorm with a tornado warning blow through to make things interesting (my house just got wet).  This will put a damper on the neighborhood pyromaniacs, for awhile.

I want to congratulate the Michigan Wolverines with a mediocre record this year of just 8 and 5, they managed to have 2 complete miracles by beating both Ohio State and Alabama.   2funny  (both times with boring 'hey-diddle-diddle, right-up-the-middle' offense, and tremendous defense. )

Ya Jess. We’re real party poopers too these last few years. I don’t even stay up till midnight to call my family in Hawaii to brag about living in the new year before them anymore. Just a shot of makers before bed and I’m good. No need to get stupid and crazy anymore

2024 was a really good year for me in general.  I had a New Year's resolution of not running yellow lights . . . that lasted a few weeks.  But it did last for the most part of 2024.

Now 2025 . . . to "create".  I'm most happy when working on a creative project of some sort; something outside of work.  To learn, to think, to imagine, and then to do.

I haven’t done a deep dive into reflecting on 2024, but it was one for the record books. It certainly was a year of politics and gaslighting by our government and the media. I think the turning point of the whole year was the shot heard around the world at Trumps rally in Pennsylvania this summer. For a bullet to come that close to his head and not take him out was a sign for me that maybe Trump has more work to do before he’s done.

2025 will surely be a momentous year and hopefully we will see some sanity restored to America.

First of all, Happy New Year EVERYONE!

Wishing you all, all the best life has to offer. Be happy, be healthy, be safe and most importantly have some fun. Good bless and again, best of wishes to each and every one of you!

As for reflection on ‘24, what stands out to me is the airline industry, this has to be the worst year in memory, from unruly passengers to equipment failures all over the place I’m surprised there has been more casualties. Boeing certainly took it on the chin this year and that fiasco at the ISS really made for some negative headlines.

Ride safe and hope you all have a great year. May the only tears you or your family shed are tears of happiness.

Happy New Year to all.  May you enjoy 2025 and have loads of fun riding.

same to all as well for 2025.  I know 2023 and 2024 was limited riding both ATV and cycles due to bad hips.  Now that I have 2 new hips and still in recovery, should be good to go hopefully to be able to swing a leg over the seat with NO pain come April after this cold winter is coming.  Still not out of the woods been 4 weeks out, but walking with a cane another few weeks will not hurt as long as we luckily have been getting NO snow and no snow expected all of next week either, so that is good.

I must say having off 8 weeks of the past 12 weeks, besides painful 1st 2 weeks of recovering, was great to have off work.  Heading back into the office today though, arghhhh!!!
