Hello everyone.  I know Dag used to have this on his page, and I know it still exists somewhere, but I don't know where.

I recently picked up a two-owner '98 and it's the fastest stock Valkyrie I've ridden.  BigBF was the last person to work on it, so that could explain part of it, but we lost him 4 years ago.

Anyway, I'm curious to know how far into the '98 production this 2/98 bike was and if, just if maybe, it has leftover '97 bits that explain how strong it is.

The last 6 digits of the VIN are 104152.

Thanks!

Dave

Interesting my 98 Standard Blue & Cream falls outside the approximate sn's for 98. 103739 would have had to been either made in late 97 or early 98.  Maybe that's why it's the fastest 98 out there 2funny

I have the same. ALL '98s have the lower HP, R2 emission cams. Mind does not anymore.
