service manual requires inspection at 100k miles.  there isn't an age change out requirement. the material do not easily age. they are industrial belts that Honda uses as timing belts.
  see here
https://www.gates.com/content/dam/gates/home/knowledge-center/resource-library/catalogs/powergripdrivedesignmanual_17195_2014.pdf

""Construction consists of these components:
1. Fiberglass Tensile Member — Provides high strength, excel-
lent flex life and high resistance to elongation.
2. Neoprene ® Backing — Strong Neoprene bonded to the tensile
member for protection against grime, oil and moisture. It also
protects from frictional wear if idlers are used on the back of the
belt.
3. Neoprene Teeth — Shear-resistant Neoprene compound is
molded integrally with the Neoprene backing. They are precisely
formed and accurately spaced to assure smooth meshing with
the sprocket grooves.
4. Nylon Facing — Tough nylon fabric with a low coefficient of
friction covers the wearing surfaces of the belt. It protects the
tooth surfaces and provides a durable wearing surface for long
service.""

I replaced mine at 100K.   The original belts still looked good, but since I had to remove the pods and other stuff to get to the belts decided to replace them.

Rock auto or parts store has best price. Mother Honda is expensive.

You mean belts?  They were changed at 80k and again at 160k. Now they have 30k and three years on them.

I have helped a few guys change the belts. I’ve seen belts with well over 100k that looked kinda new and ones with far less that were cracking. You just have to look and I would recommend doing it before 100k miles. It’s so easy to inspect them

I believe our timing belts are more affected by temperatures and humidity than use and miles.

Mine got changed at a big service interval, at 115K and 65K (by the guy doing my service; I supplied the Gates belts).  He said they were all fine, but changed them out anyway per my request.

I changed mine at 125,000 and they looked new still. I'm approaching 250,000 miles and am considering doing them again.

Please refresh my recollection.

What happens if one breaks while you are underway?

Possibly bend the crank?

interference engine can have
bent valves worst case valve goes through piston.

why Honda used industrial drive belts designed to run 24/7 at much higher loads than turning one camshaft with about 90 lb valve springs as timing belts for their Flagship engine aka GL1500 Goldwing engine.
Honda started using these belts for the '88 Goldwing with the same exact inspection requirements. Since '88, Gates has upgraded the belts, so they are better than the original design parameters Honda wanted.
