Even if a miracle happened and my Lions were playing, I would not be attending in person. I would not pay those prices and don't like crowds and traffic either. Although if my dad was still alive, I could probably get free tickets. His business connections made that one of his superpowers. Hey dad, me and a couple buddies want to go to a Red Wings game next week.
You want to sit in the executive lounge, or down on the ice behind a goal to watch the fights up close? Lions, Tigers, Wings, Michigan Wolverines many times (regular season or playoffs).

I guess my point was too subtle.
The prices for TV commercials are related to how many folks they are expected to be exposed to them. In Superbowls and World Series the most lucrative markets, because of population sizes, are New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Kansas City may be the smallest population city to have NFL and MLB teams.
Keep in mind that for us it isn't life but is entertainment. I am entertained.
I believe Green Bay has you beat re. city population with a bit over 100k, I believe KC is somewhat larger. As with most metro areas, there are adjoining communities that make the entire area substantially larger, but GB proper is only about 107k. When it comes to the Packers(or any other team), I don't really give a rip one way or the other. If the Packers win a game, good for them. If the other team wins, good for them. I often get a little good-natured heat from locals about my lack of support for the hometown team, sometimes the "heat" isn't very friendly. I do have a couple Packer clothing items, both given to me since I have no intention to spend my money on such junk. The next stupid thing we'll have to put up with is the draft being held here in April. The entire area has gone nuts, hotels/motels and camping sites are almost totally booked between here and halfway to Chicago. There are numerous private homes all around Lambeau Field that are rented out for the week for many thousands of dollars. Those are the same houses around the stadium that often aren't lived in but privately owned and rented out for the weekend during a game...again for thousands. And we wonder why the aliens haven't tried to make contact with us!

That URL redirects to the viral.cafex.biz link... Not seeing this being picked up by anyone else, this smells like a clickbait scam site/story... Especially since the Facebook posts are over 48 hours old now... (That, and the headline says $650,000, but the article says $500,000...)

Well. The good thing. Good for truth and fairness at least for this Super Bowl is that the whole refs helping certain teams is becoming quite the buzz. So Im sure it will be very difficult to get away with much shenanigans on Sunday.
What allegedly was done or not done in the past will probably remain a controversy but going forward should be better because no one wants the cloud of these rumors hanging over a team’s record
So I see all the rage about unfair refereeing as a long term good thing. Keeps the system honest in a way. One way to prove there’s nothing to complain about is to have nothing significant happen worth complaining about.

Close calls are always going to invite controversy. It is, what it is. Every game and every ref is graded and schooled by the NFL through out the season. No ref team (with two alternates, just in case) will ref no more than two NFL regular season games. The refs with the best scores go on to the playoffs. The Chiefs have had a long run of success, people are tired of hearing about the Chiefs and they also want their team(s) to get to the Superbowl. Remember how so many folks hated the Packers, the Steelers and the Patriots when they were dynasties, same thing happened. As I previously asked, where can I buy some of that fertilizer? Rams

The Chiefs have gotten to where they are by hard work within the entire organization, back office as well as the players. There are several good teams that are showing the same characteristics, but the Chiefs are doing it the best, most consistently.

Congratulations for the Chiefs fans on a possible 3-peat. As I usually go with the underdog, I'm assuming the EGLES, are that, so go E G L E S Not gonna watch the game, don't care what Taylor is wearing or want to hear the black national anthem. Pretty much the NFL aggravates me more than entertains me after Colin, or Colon started kneeling. But to those that do enjoy it, have a great day.

I would actually agree with you if it wasn't the Chiefs, I've been a fan since they moved to KC from TX. I'd be (most likely) pulling for the underdog also. Especially against such a dynasty team like the Chiefs so, I do understand. Hard to say who the underdog is, the Eagles are very good, Vegas is calling the Chiefs a 2 point favorite the last time I checked. Should be one heck of the game, think'n I'll be watching. The Eagles have one of the best defenses in the game with two outstanding defensive ends. If, they can bottle up Mahones, it'll be very challenging game for the Chiefs. Reference Swifty, I agree. But, if she and Travis are happy, I'm happy for them. Rams

Christian music star Lauren Daigle is celebrating a full-circle moment after being tapped to perform at this year's Super Bowl.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old singer will join jazz musician Trombone Shorty for a rendition of "America the Beautiful" during the Super Bowl pregame show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Well shoot, if Terrell Owens says it, it must be true. Regardless of how the Super Bowl ends up, the next dynasty team will have similar controversies to deal with. Well shoot, if Terrell Owens says it, it must be true. Regardless of how the Super Bowl ends up, the next dynasty team will have similar controversies to deal with. It has always been true and there isn't a darn thing to keep opposing fans from making that or similar claims. Have a great day. Rams every game is fixed some more than others for decades. Vegas (mob) bookies need to win on all of the betting. refs have gotten really bad ever since they increase sports betting online and other avenues, right when they started wearing headphones to be told immediately what to do. its all about the points spread and betting. multi-billion dollar industry. plenty of yrs worth of youtube vids showing the fraud going on. great ones were the superbowl of seahawks and steelers. so clear the game became fixed with very bad calls that turned the game around for the stollers to win. last game fro the bus, coach and the old owner. big fanfare was all planned for a stollers win, yet they were losing to the better team seahawks.

OK, if you say so. Have I agreed with every call, nope but, I had the advantage of instant replay. I'll leave it at that. Rams

Even during the football season I do NOT tune in til After kickoff. And No HOW No WAY am I watching 27 and a 1/2 hours of lead in talkin heads. And I could CARE LESS whether or not taylor swift is there much less whats shes wearing. Far as the 1/2 time show Again could care Less. Even those S B commercials have lost a LOT of the former funny stuff. Should the Chiefs be he victors might watch a bit of that hoopla. Funny actually I recall a time when the GAME itself Was the Main Attraction! THAT right there be what I miss! RIDE SAFE.
OTS, I agree with all of this statement, you hit it. Well, except watching the hoopla Based on your opinion, maybe I'll record it, watch it later and ff through all the extra crap. The current politics of the NFL is why I follow the NHL.

While I will tune in for the start of the game, I rarely watch the half time show. It's obviously meant for another demographic. Yeah, I'm getting old.
