Got a 45 mi. ride this afternoon with the 60 degrees and full sunshine. So with 26 yr. old front brake lines thus it felt weird when braking the longer I rode felt squishy under pressure to better explain it. Tough find but was able to get front set and back line $104 free ship from Motosport. All my other vendors had one or the other front but no rear one at any. This should take care brake maintenance for while as the pads are fairly recent besides the fluid looking like its time to change anyway. Ole' Adele really liked those temps.  Evil

Okay no oem availibilty. Going to aftermarket. Galfer lowest price, Spiegler and Russell are other options. Not cheap a arse but any thought/experience with all mentioned would be helpful.

Have you bled the brakes recently?  Gotta make sure the "squishy" is actually the brake line.  Galfer was a perfect fit on my 4 cylinder Honda.  I would buy that brand again.

If you are willing to fiqure your own line route and length, some more good alternates are:

Core moto pricing is very good.

Well being of ole' low rent life in early years, I had to learn and do my own wrenching thus I'm very fluent in braking systems  Grin She's a 29' year old bike and with anything rubber and plastic's etc., its due for fluid change again and the whole system is going to be addressed. Basically looking for input on aftermarket lines from folk that have used them. Thank you for your input and asking as we don't always know the level of experience when do a read. I've learned some from you folks thus query on the aftermarket lines. I'm long standing member of HSN and boy is it getting newer/younger member influx the past couple years. Hopefully some of them will want a Fat Lady but we have get them some traineing for us to continue their teachings.  Smiley

I thinking of departing with her this spring as I'm gettin' older thus I'm wanting to purchase a 16' CB1100A as it 1st. year of the twin pipe exhaust like CB's of the 60's and 70's. The PTWR nearly identical to Valk but much lighter. I can't send her out knowing there's a brake issue.

Thanks to you all.
