You are a braver man than I Charlie Brown. In AZ, ice is only in the freezer.

u best not crash that old honda ct70.  saw some pristine ones going for as much as our Valks are worth in that 3-4K range.  better be careful on what is left of the ice.  All the ice is NOW gone on most of our lakes in southern WI since we been into 50's and even low 60's a few days.

Well, still two feet thick here, but going quick.

Well, still about 2 feet thick ice here a bit north of the metro area, but going quick.  Average ice out is about April 7th here, might be a bit early this year.

And value of these machines, you are correct.  Mine is a rider and probably valued about $2200 or so.  But yes, the premium restored machines can go for north of $4000.  Quite an appreciation as new they sold for $379.  I’ve owned mine for about 30 years, and is not for sale.  Find one, they are in barns all across this country having sat for decades in many regards.

speaking of first runs of the year on cycle,  saw today going to work 33 degrees out a cycle on rural country roads no windshield doing 60 mph about 15 miles before he turned off in front of me.  NO thanks,  my limit is about 38 degree temps even with a windshield and helmet on.
