There's a pond about 60 feet off my backyard. I just popped outside for a moment and I heard peepers for the first time this year. March has been warmer than normal so far this year in my area. Maybe that's why the peepers are doing their thing. Usually I don't hear them to close to the end of March/early April. Plus my forsythia bushes along the driveway have little yellow buds on them. Spring is here!  |

Yep, hopefully it won't be long.... |

Up to 4" of snow predicted for tomorrow....  Yikes! It's was below freezing this morning in my area. But we're not expecting any snow that would stick to the roads. Maybe to the grass.  Mid 20s this morning, mid 30s this afternoon with a stiff breeze out of the NW...puddles refroze !! |

Mid 20s this morning, mid 30s this afternoon with a stiff breeze out of the NW...puddles refroze !!
Yeah, the WX this whole week is going to suck. Next week April begins and hopefully we'll see improvements shortly thereafter. Up here, spring doesn't start until mid to end of April...Any weather improvement between now and then is a bonus... |

WhatTha'Hay Tony... Did you put a voodoo whammy on me..??? More rain snow mix again today... Yeah, we had rain and snow here yesterday, too. But the snow didn't stick. Actually even in the metro Boston area, having snow in April is not uncommon. But yeah, it sucks that the WX has not yet taken a turn to consistently warmer days. We're still getting on-offs. Next week were supposed to get some 60+ days and sun in my area. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. |
