Stan's subject line probably doesn't show up on your puter, eh Gary? One nice thang about this new software - you can totally delete or modify your post, Sidecar! Couldn't resist. ~Jeff

Ok. Wandering smart A#%. Kiss

Yep, I see that it is "near Camp Wood", but I'm asking where this pic was taken.  I assume it is somewhere along the Nueces, but I know that Stan can tell us just where this spot is.

Sure SideCar, I can give you directions to this little spot.    Grin Like you told that Wanderrrerrreer fella, near Camp Wood could cover a lot of ground.  If you go about 5 miles south of Camp Wood on highway 55 (toward uvalde) there is a large bridge that crosses the Nueces River; on the North end of the bridge there is a small road that will take you down under the bridge on another old roadway (concrete) that is just above water level.  If you go to ride the twisted sisters, this is a nice little spot to take a break.  Since you are under the main bridge it is shady and cool and the water is right there to dip your feet in.    In addition, the splashing water from the long spillway in the background is very soothing.

Thank you, sir.  I'll have to stop by there next time I'm down there.  Hope all is well with you and the family.  No more smashed windows or car wrecks, I hope.

Got a friend riding from Wisconsin.  How's the wildflower routes?
Thought we'd take her up to the Willow City Loop.
