I am thinking about finding some IS shocks and putting them on my standard.
If you have done this, how did it workout, do you like the IS shocks on the standard?

Thanks.

They work fine, some might even say great. I have them on mine and they are a bit stiffer. I used to have them at a setting of 2. But when I went to the dark side the ride was better at a setting of one. My Valk has no hard bags only leather bags and for the most part is clean with out a lot of extra weight. I weight in at 200, so over all fully loaded the bike weights less than most. I think the IS shocks will give you plenty of adjustment if your over all load is more.   Cool

Excellent, especially if you like a little bit stiffer ride.  I do and I did.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I have them on my tourer and like them. Its the inexpensive route. I have mine set at 3 I think. I ride 2 up alot and usually have luggage.

I've got them on my Tourer and they're set on 1.  I up them to 2 or 3 when riding 2 up depending on the girl.

Got them on my Tourer.  I like them better then the Progressive 412's I took off due to a leak, just out of warranty of course.  Sad
I'm 250 lbs & I set them on 3. It is a bit stiffer than before but I don't bother changing the setting on the occasional 2 up riding we do.  cooldude

I put some on my 98 Standard. Keep them set on 3 whether
I'm riding 1 or 2 up. Big improvement. cooldude
