i noticed the pic upload process is a challenge.  i still feel like a moron on this board.  don't get it.  as for this pig bike.  i've decided just to keep it cheap.  i can fix tank and fender acceptably.  rattle black.  i'll do a custom tank decal.  it aint a show bike.  stuff doesn't need to be perfect unless its a collectible piece like my Magna.  leaving the bat wing for now but soon it'll probably go.  would need to buy a new headlight bucket.  motorcycles nickel and dime...

ended up getting my second valk for $1000.  long story.  had a cracked fuel line when i bought it.  it just started leaking when we started it up.  didn't concern me and i bought it for $1800, because the engine was so fresh.  it seriously ran like new.  next day, seller said bike wouldn't start and it's still leaking, and he didn't want to fix it like we agreed when i bought it.   i didn't know the valk petcocks had a vacuum line.  anyway i wasn't happy about situation and he wouldn't let me back out.  we agreed he'd refund $800 and i'd have bike shipped and fix it on my own.  next day we both had the problem figured out.  but he stuck to deal and we became pals.  it's so different dealing with old guys.  it seems to always end well.
