There is a search button right straight up from this box.

It has these buttons in it.

Home - Help - Search - Profile and etc.

I know, but that search only works on this board, which has only been around for a few days. I want to search the archives from the old tech board.

Which screen design are you using??  The options seem to change between the styles.

Depending on the theme that you have set up in   your preferences.  If you are using the default one you can access the old tech archives by a link at the top of the page (right under the graphic for the Ultra seat - at least it enabled me to do a search.

The search archives link doesn't seem to be there in the white background theme.

Madmike, your pretty good.  I just switched back and forth.  With the light background there is no link for the archives.  With the dark background it was there every time.  At least I know Im not losing it yet.  Thanks.

I am using the default dark screen, but I had clicked on the little arrow next to the date at the right top. I thought I was just condensing the header, but doing so eliminates the links to archives as well as shoptalk, classifieds, etc.  All squared away now, thank you for the replies! cooldude
