If I can find some stacks (4" x 4'), I'll change the looks of my existing pipes which are sporting plenty of that brown stuff. Having a heck of a time removing the three small screws holding the tail piece so plan to crank up my compressor and cut the darn things off lengthwise. I tried some 4-0 steel wool and polish but the rust was too deep so not worth the effort. Back in the day I got a set of stacks from the source I'm referring to in the title, fit good but had to tap them in place with a rubber mallet.
I did find a set of stainless steel pipes, supposedly polished, so wondering if anyone has ever used that type. They are heavier than chrome and more difficult to cut and drill so will probably pass on using them. As previously mentioned, I'm open to suggestions & offers.
