If I can find some stacks (4" x 4'), I'll change the looks of my existing pipes which are sporting plenty of that brown stuff. Having a heck of a time removing the three small screws holding the tail piece so plan to crank up my compressor and cut the darn things off lengthwise. I tried some 4-0 steel wool and polish but the rust was too deep so not worth the effort. Back in the day I got a set of stacks from the source I'm referring to in the title, fit good but had to tap them in place with a rubber mallet.

I did find a set of stainless steel pipes, supposedly polished, so wondering if anyone has ever used that type. They are heavier than chrome and more difficult to cut and drill so will probably pass on using them. As previously mentioned, I'm open to suggestions & offers. Grin

""Airflow was bought by Six Roblees, a company right nearby.  They did not pick up the exhaust stack line.""

I was curious and did a quick search.

I have no idea if this is beneficial to what you’re looking for, if they’ll fit or even in your budget.

Just trying to help a little.

There are a variety of lengths and styles.

Might ping MarkT at Horseapple Ranch, see if he's got any sources or contacts?

I went to a local Semi repair shop. They could order any size truck stack you wanted. When you tell em you want a 4" chrome stack, make sure you know if its 4" outside diameter or inside, they can get both.

Since I needed to get an idea just how wide the muffler is I decided to measure it using a piece of string, my inside/outside measuring doodad only goes to 3". So, using the length of string wrapped around the muffler without stretching it, then applying that figure to the old C=pi times the diameter, computing for D gave me 3.981" diameter. That would seem to indicate .019" clearance if the stack was actually 4"ID. If it fits too loose, which I doubt, I'd merely add some spot welds on opposing sides to snug it up. Thoughts?

I have a set of 4" x 18" ones, just took them off and sent the whole system to Mark at Horse Apple, they are not needed as he is putting on longer ones for me in the process.
They are not new but not ugly either, if you want some pix let me know, I can email some.
Price is right, pick'em up for free or we can work out something to ship if you are interested.
