I needed some peaches. I needed to ride the red bike. 2+2  cooldude

Here's a picture of my favorite local peach stand from last year:

There was a fire there  Cry I hope she can rebuild...

I found a new place nearby and went out there on the red bike...

It is hot.

I got a couple of good looking tomatoes too...

The red bike ran GREAT, smooth as glass. I ride the red bike less these days,
my front tire is over four years old!

Peaches come from a can.
They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown.....

Nice to see the old girl getting some love... Tried to take my '98 out the other day, no joy, need to bleed the clutch before she's street worthy, and even then will need some more work for smaller things....

But need to, death sentence to let 'em sit!

Oh man. Georgia may be the peach state, but nothing beats tree ripened South Carolina peach. I grew up in SC, and we would get those awesome peaches. You could take your knife and slice through the peel, and then just slide it off the peach. The just about melt in your mouth. They are nothing like what gets shipped out because the shipped ones have to be hard so as not to turned mush during shipping.

There's some good peach farms in the northern part of
my county, up near Longcreek. And some other nearby
to me good ones are on hiway 11 in Greenville county. All those
farms you see out on I-85 are mostly from Spartanburg
or further... The big commercial farms seem to be down
near Ridge Spring... Looking forward to some peaches
like the ones Mooskee described, they're out there!

These came from a new-to-me market on the edge
of town, i barely put 20 hot miles on the Valkyrie
getting there and back.

LOL!  Peach trees know nothing about state lines.  I prefer my fresh peaches a little stiff so I can slice them up and eat in segments,

Like someone else in this thread when I read the post my mind began to sing, "Moving to the country; gonna eat a lot of peaches."

Every morning I cut up some fruit and mix oatmeal in with it... except when we have
grits and eggs and bacon  cooldude ... sometimes in the winter it is just apples and
bananas, in the summer it is all the good stuff...

Some of the best peaches come from the roadside stands of farms where they're grown.
Some farms seem focused on "industrial" scale, and some seem focused on their roadside
stands. Carolyn went to visit her mom in Rock Hill this week and passed by two of my favorites:

She took Black's peaches to her mom and brought Cooks peaches home.

These are like Mooskee were describing  cooldude ...
