Same, on all counts. And when the elder spawn borrows a car it's even worse.

One feature I used to think was bougie but now consider a requirement is where the car recognizes individual keyfobs, and reconfigures the seat based on which key is being used...

I.E. I unlock the door after someone else has driven it and it reconfigures the seat automatically so I don't break my knees getting in.

Would be my luck I'd grab the wrong key fob.  Grin  Nancy's Audi has buttons on the door that lets you program different seat set-ups. So one day I went to use her car and pressed #2 thinking it would take the position I had programmed but no...it took the #1 position so I ask why. Answer..."oh, guess I forgot which was mine so reprogrammed it." So why didn't you just reprogram #1 which is yours?

My last Ram 3500 had a lot of those options but it's gone on to another driver.   Since it's a rarity for anyone else to drive my current pickup (Silverado 1500 WT) I generally don't have to worry about such things but on the rare occasion that my Spousal Unit does drive it, I know it immediately because the back of the seat and the steering wheel are too close for me to get in.

Life is too short to worry about the small stuff.  Wink
