I havent posted here about this but Im desperate for prayer
Im Mark Potter of the CMA in Traverse City Mi.
My wife had spinal fusion surgery friday morning. It was 7 hours long, the fused and cleaned the spinal canal in her spine from t10 all the way down to her pelvis. It has been a very rough time the last few days. Although she seemd a little better this am. They were able to get her up and into a chair twice. But tonight shedeveloped a fever (99.9) and a dramatic increase in pain. They are working on reducing both. If you belive in the power of prayer, please ask the Lord to touch her and make this eaiser on her. I trully wish it was me instead of her on that bed.

Thanks in advance
Mark

Mark bless you for asking for Prayer for your wonderful wife.

remember only real men/woman pray because we have faith that the Creator hears our prayers and that's part our relationship with him.

Bad circumstances happen in our lives so God can show us his power in our lives.

He is real and we must believe that he is and a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.

So prayers for Brenda are on the way for quick healing that will astound her Doctor's.

I also pray for peace that transends all understading to you both and all of your family.

God we give you all the Glory and Honor for what your about to do in her life.

God bless and in Jesus name.

You are both in our thoughts and prayers.  My back has been under the knife three times including a fusion.  Based on the extent of her operation, it will take some time to recover.

I just had an abcess on my spine due to a staff infection, the Doc had to fuse three vertabrae and pull two disk. I was very lucky and had almost no pain from the day following the surgery, but I was rather upset since I also ran high fevers and my blood pressure was spiking thru the roof and they could not diagnose the problem for 4 days. The bottom line now is that Im dying of boredom , but Im medically feeling much, much better. Sine injuries can take a long time to recover so be strong. I wish we were closer so we could help.............

What got me thru during the tough parts was the constant love and companionship of my wife , friends and family. Sometimes all you can do is be there and let her know she is not alone. God has carried me thru this very hard time in my life and I know he will do what is right for you. Trust in his love and embrace the love of your friends and family and we here in NJ will pray for his ongoing love and support for you and your family.

Hey Mark- I live in Lowell (just east of GR).  Let me know if you need a place to rest, or someone to talk to.  I would be happy to help if you need anything.  I am a former pastor...don't let that scare you though!  Smiley
