I bought a 1997 Valkyrie in 01 or thereabouts.  I set it up nicely for me.  I enjoyed it until 4 years ago when a Harley rider who had drunk his lunch came across the center line and took out the Valk and I.  From the hospital bed a made the decision to let the insurance company take the bike to auction.  I should have stripped a few bits off it as I can no longer find them for my new (98) Valk.

Among the items I can’t find are bar risers that fit a Valk.  The risers I had raised the bar about 2 inches and moved them back maybe an inch.  It was just enough to relieve back and shoulder pain on long rides.  It seems to me they cam for a company in Florida.  Does anyone know of similar risers?  Are the risers for a VTX 1300 compatible?

I also had a Mustang rider and passenger seats.  Has anyone got a pair they’d like to sale?  Has anyone experimented with re-foaming a stock seat?  Who still makes replacement seats?

It appears the only shock available is the Progressive 412. Does anyone know of other shocks still manufacture to fit the Valk?  It also appears RaceTech spring up front are available.

Thanks for the help.  I’m looking forward to having my 98 on the road.  There’s nothing like a Valk.

Do a search and you will probably find a lot of answers.
I had Harley Deuce risers on mine for a while and liked them . Just enough up and back.
As far as shocks go, YSS  RZ360 for VTX 1300 work. Progressive 444 or Worx Shocks

I think the Harley Deuce risers require longer hydraulic lines.

They're more than a 2" rise.

There used to be riser spacers than could be added to OE.

OK, one of my Interstates came with the Deuce risers on it and both handlebar hydraulic lines were longer braided stainless.

I like those risers better than the ones on my other bike, except in very tight turns, your hands almost touch your thighs.  (course the bars can rotate up and down in them, but I like where they are for riding)

Just installed these Baron risers on my 99 Standard with no modification or cable re-route. Comes complete with all required bolts/studs. Big difference after approx 1000 miles of use. (also have Ultimate Big Boy seat)

Post 99' seats are still available. Very Mustang like in fitment. Really like mine. $210 last I looked for the set.

I changed bars keeping the stock risers to these. Alleviated the akward wrist position (to me) thus better handling at slower speeds. Had plenty of cable etc.

Call up Traxxion in Georgia. They provided really good performing shocks to
Ross, and overnighted them to him in Billings Montana for the ride home.
Bitubo shocks. The Billings InZane was a couple of  years ago, so my info is
a little dated...
